Ascension Day
Live Painting

I had the privilege of painting live at Doxa Deo Moot during their Ascension Day service — a powerful moment of reflection and celebration.
As the service unfolded, I was able to capture the atmosphere of the day on screen using my iPad, creating a visual representation of the day's spiritual significance. It was a meaningful experience to translate worship and word into art in real time, surrounded by a community united in faith.

Live Wedding Painting

This past weekend, I had the privilege of painting live at a beautiful wedding in Potchefstroom.
What an honour it was to witness and be part of such a meaningful moment — the very first steps of your journey together as husband and wife.
May your marriage be filled with God’s grace, love, and kindness. May He remain at the centre of all you do together, as one united in purpose and love.
My first art class
7 December 2024
With a little encouragement from friends, I took the leap and hosted my very first art class today.
The feedback was incredibly fulfilling.
Each of the women shared how the class gave them a renewed sense of confidence, healing a small part of themselves in the process.
All I’ve ever wanted is for my art to connect with people in a meaningful way, and today, a small part of that dream came true.

The Artist
Anrika Bresler
I always had a passion for art and it has been a part of my household growing up. My Father is a mouth painter and works for The Association of Mouth and Foot Painters South Africa and my mother a fashion designer.
But even though they were both in artistic careers, they wanted me to be more than just an artist. So I went on to study accounting.
However, being creative in accounting is frowned upon and I simply could not part with my artistic roots.
I mainly sell my digital art but I love painting with Acrylics and Watercolours as well. When I relax and doodle, Color pencils and Copic Markers are my go-to guilty pleasures.

MY PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
What do I do?
I draw and create family portraits from various reference photos sent to me.
My main medium of choice is Digital painting using Procreate. I prefer this method mainly because it is cost effective.
I do take Colour pencil, Acrylic and Watercolour commissions upon request.
